Thirdly: Help us Lobby to Create A 'National Day of Respect'
We believe this lockdown period has highlighted to all of us one key thing - to respect others. And so, to The NHS, The Care Workers, The Key Workers, to the lives lost from COVID19 and indeed to everyone that has respected the rules and conditions of lockdown - Let's mark this period with a National Day of Respect that serves us to look back on and remind ourselves of the sacrifices people have made, our gratitude to them and be grateful for the positives that came from it. Reflection - Empathy - Gratitude

Information and Guidance

We feel it is important that the nation holds an annual day of remembrance, reflection and gratitude to mark our shared experience of living through Covid-19.

Through this day, the nation would acknowledge the dedication and sacrifice of the NHS staff, the care workers and the key workers who have kept the UK going throughout this crisis.

It would also be a day of remembrance for those who didn't make it and for the hardships suffered by those whose whole lives were irrevocably altered.

Yet it will also be a day of joy and hope too, where we reflect upon how the nation came together as one, and where we recall all of the positives that sprang from this shared life-changing experience.
